Why ASUBURE exists
Better equipment decisions begin with understanding.

This philosophy applies whether the right outcome is to keep existing equipment, refine it, retrofit it, or build something new.

About Johan
Behind the bench.
ASUBURE was founded by Johan Rivera, a golfer and professional clubmaker whose interest in equipment developed beyond simply finding different clubs to play.
The focus became understanding why clubs behave differently: how playing length, weight, swingweight, shaft characteristics, frequency, loft, lie and component selection interact — and how those relationships affect the golfer and the progression of a complete set.
That interest developed into formal clubmaking training, hands-on building and fitting experience, and continued learning from experienced professionals within the industry.

Origin of ASUBURE
A name with an origin.
ASUBURE is not an invented technical term.
The name comes from Asubure, a small coastal community in Falcón, Venezuela, beside Tiraya, where founder Johan Rivera grew up.
Asubure is also where Johan has his home in Venezuela.
The name represents origin and home.
The origin belongs to the name. The work defines the brand.
